Best CFO experiance yet

So after 4 month of courses, applications and endless calling... I finally recieved my Rpal a few weeks ago. But thats not the end or the point of this thread.

I have had a glock 17 Gen 3 on hold and paid for a while now. The thing that blew me away was as follows. Last payment was made on friday last week as well as registration info sent. Monday i called and they said we need some more info. I sent them the info via email. Basicly a pic of my club membership and various other stuff to get a statt. I wasnt going to hold my breath.

Called this morning to see if registration was approved and it was. Now heres the kicker, she asked me when i want the statt for. I said today. Then she said your long term att has already been mailed out to you and all copys of certification and att's will be faxed to the gun store within 7 minutes.... I was like HOLY DONKEY!!!

To good to be true? Nope. When i got to the store 20 minutes later they had already stamped and verified my certification, statt and ltatt.

To make things even better i had just bought a 22 tactical lr yesterday. Boy that thing is fun. Its like christmas for me. Good thing im single ;)

Your story inspire me ... but I'm fully ready to be disappointed anyway :)

This sask? if so they already did ltatt and everything for me also.
 
In sask, got my first restricted, the CanAmmo 1911 deal, got the gun in the mail, then the LTATT arrived a few days after, didn't have to make any phone calls, good for 5 years

i wouldnt agree with this statement. the CFO is just the administration and enforcement arm for the laws which our elected officials passed into law. some CFO offices and jurisdictions sympathize with gun owners (and are probably gun owners themselves) and do everything possible to help gun owners. others do everything possible to c*ckblock us at every turn. look at AB/SK vs. ON. same federal laws but different application of them.

I'm from ontario and last year i bought a jericho941 on friday 7pm one hour before closing i received a call from the store monday at 2pm your satt is here and when do you want to pick your handgun

or as part of new firearms legislation standards need to be set which do not vary at the provincial and municipal level. the CFO is like the DMV, its here to stay. even the US has the ATF. some government body regulating firearms will always be around.
