Best Club for Skeet/Trap/Sporting Clay around Toronto???

"Daniel" ... while maybe "around" and not posting much "since 2004" ... is hardly a newbie, with 30+ (maybe even 40 :eek: ) years of well-respected hands-on experiance in the shooting, firearms & ammunition industries.

By all means Henry, take a break from the fine wines and upper stratosphere of the FITASC target shoots of Europe whilst rubbing elbows with King Digweed, and fill us in on just who's holding illegally unsanctioned shoots at what Club.
We'd all like to know the details ....

I'd just hate to get arrested simply by just being there to shoot a few targets.

That just about sums it up, and I will add that it would be pretty hard to find a more genuine person in this business or life in general.
 
PM me and I will explain to you which club feels it does not need to comply with Internationaly sanctioned shooting events. Unfortunately, the present management will not undertake legal action to remedy the situation. I am sure that the new management will keep everyone inline!

You may critic my travels and enjoyment for fine wines and scotch. I went to 14 funerals between Dec 4 2007 when my father died and June 26 2008 when my mother died. I also knew 4 others that I could not go to their funerals. My wife is a survivor of Breast Cancer. I have also some health issues. So, we enjoy life day to day as much as we can. We have no kids. I lost my best friend and dog Scotch last month while away. He retreived over 3000 birds with his best in 1998, 580. My 18 month Dhratthar, Oban will try to fulfill Scotch's legacy.

Nothing wrong with enjoying all of the above. I know I do. Your endless bragging about it does become a bit tiresome. It's not like you are the only guy who gets out of town.

No one, and certainly not me, criticized you for enjoying the finer things the world has to offer, and most certainly, I wasn't making light of what we all face in the way of trials & tribulations along the road of life. I've lost parents, attended way too many funerals altogether and had to bury cherished hunting dogs and house cats as well ! None of us can hope for anything more valuable than good health and a long enjoyable life. I enjoy my time out of the country and a good Cabernet Sauvignon or Amarone della Valpolicella as much as the next guy.

Why is this a "PM me" secret. Is this Club (whichever one it is) holding events they say are officially sanctioned or not ??? Which shoot(s) ? Which sanctioning body ? And if this is all truly "illegal", why on earth hasn't the all-powerful sanctioning body commenced litigation ???
 
I shoot the SC at Oshawa a few times each year. It's fairly challenging and they change it up once a month or so to keep it interesting.
 
Hi, I tried to reach TITS or Dufferin-Northern Peel Anglers' & Hunters' Association
no luc, by any chance who was there recently, I need to take my bud to test his shotguns, but do not want to go to Oshawa or so, to waste 1,5 of driving one way only. Thank you
