Also need a bottom rail to put a afg magpul forgrip on it. Also are the mags that come with the vz 58 in 7.62 metal? I know the .223 is plastic.

My cz has eaten two sparcs. One ran fine on a .223 for awhile, put it on my CZ when my first sparc crapped out. 500 or so rounds on my CZ and its doing funny stuff, like turning on when closing the bolt, or off, or not turning off ect. Thats with new batteries, cap on tight. I have one I got cheap off the EE (before the second one crapped the bed) and its on my M305, hasnt been fired yet. Be interesting to see how it holds up.

I've used the Busnell TRS-25 on top of the NEA railed upper handguard for a couple of years without issues at all. Always held zero. Recently, I've switched to the side mount and I like it much better for the clear unobstructed view. But you might need some sort of cheek-riser to make it comfortable.

I run the railed dust cover with a buris 332. Always returns to zero and it gets removed every time I shoot for the clean

I have been using the railed polymer set from Corwin arms for awhile now with a Vortex Strikefire. Taken on and off numerous time and so far has held zero.
I did modify it a bit with some JB though, but otherwise it's been great. He also has a nice aluminum set on the website now too...

used to have the NEA and now have the bc tactical. the bc tactical is much better looking IMO and more robust, has rails all over and a qd mount as well for nice added feature. it also uses the factory cz pin for easy removal (dont have to screw around with tiny allen screws that you can loose very easily and that stupid pin that never seems to go in easily) and the handguard is pressure fitted so it NEVER loses zero. I had a problem with my NEA fitting it, the pin you have to drift into the reciever to secure it wasnt in line with my reciever, the hole in the nea was COMPLETELY off my recievers hole by almost an 8th of an inch! I know theres a bit of inconsistency with the cz rifles being surplus guns and the machining isnt state of the art accurate but still, wasn't impressed with NEA. my BC tac went on with only a bit of filing on the uppper part where it goes against the gas block, good product.

Westrifle mount puts scope in the proper position for eye relief. CSA little wonder made behind the great wall of "C" will put your optics too much too the back

The NEA works very well and returns to zero. That being said, I have the Zahal mount on one of mine and it maintains zero after being taken off for cleaning and when the barrel is very hot. If it was a bit lower it would be able to cowitness, but as it stands does not.
