Best deal on an AR lower

Hi Folks, bought a DPMS dedicated .22 upper and am looking for a lower. Can anyone suggest what the best lower would be and the best place to buy?
 
stag arms is the best... and you can get them from several places :)

I just got a NIB one from ABhobbist that he had laying around... think he has another one in the "EE"
 
Stag lower. I haven't shot mine yet but the fit of the upper to the lower is very tight. Actually a bit too tight. But I like it. ;)

Here's a picture of the Tac Sol .22 upper (the light varmint version) on a Stag lower with Magpul CTR stock.

I have built 4 RRA lowers, 2 for myself and 2 for friends. Great Lowers, fit good to all the uppers i have tried and the colour match is good too. I highly recommend them. I dont know why some poeple dislike them.

hey paulinski, how come you dislike RRA ? ive been looking around trying to do research on ar's whats wrong with them ( as a complete ar ) ?

I have a Dlask lower. I bought a complete lower from them but only received a stripped lower. They are aware of this, I'm still waiting for the parts kit and stock from them.

One big issue is it won't fit my CMMG upper, the front pivot pin holes don't line up. The channel that gets milled between the two ears for the front pivot pin is not deep enough. I can see where the upper is coming into contact with the lower and leaving marks when I fit a pin and try to close them.

Also, there was all this crud from the anodizing left on it, which I had to clean off to make it look good.

I do like the Maple Leaf on it though, see my avatar.
 
Quality control has always been spotty with all of Dlask's wares.
Hopefully they are getting a handle on it.
 
what does one suggest i do if im set on a 10.5 inch to 12inch barrel ?

i was kinda going towards dlask, but since ive read nothing but spotty QC, im thinking of either getting a bushmaster or stag in 16inch and then getting a smaller barrel to change it , any suggestions ?

like I said before you can just get it cut down... You need a decent smith...
