Not really bulk but still a hell of a lot cheaper than the places around here sell it for.

200rnds @ $169.99 is $0.85/round before tax. You can buy the same American Eagle ammo from SFRC for $16.99/20rnds which comes out to half a cent cheaper per round. Or get the S&B .308 for $699.99/1000 which is $0.70/round (boxer primed, reloadable).

As for surplus apparently a lot of the stuff marketed as non-corrosive is actually corrosive. I would hope the retailers don't know it's actually corrosive but are just going by what their supplier told them.

The only corrosive 7.62x51 surplus I've ever seen for sale in Canada is the Czech stuff. Never seen it advertised as non-corrosive.

Are you confusing it with 7.62x39?

If you bought the 'non-corrosive' 7.62x39mm keep an eye on your rifle, I just got a chance to clean mine about a week after shooting and there was a large amount of rust in the barrel and on the gas piston. From what I here it was only a few crates that had this problem but I just wanted to let you know as a heads up. On the plus side have been in contact with them and they are being really reasonable. I'ed still buy from em!.

Which ammo?

It wasn't 7.62 but 5.56, sorry, should have mentioned that. I don't know where it was from but apparently was sold as "non-corrosive" but people reported rusted out AR-15 barrels. It wasn't here on CGN but on the high road forums and I think also mentioned on the Alberta outdoorsmen forum (I think....)
