so I'm awaiting the receipt of some final parts for my blaster AR. sadly to get the berrel length I wanted, I had to sacrifice and get a satin/stainless finish barrel. Is there any paint that is better for DIY pain jobs? I'm just looking for a simple flat black finish and stainless is too flashy for what I want.
Can I get away with BBQ paint or radiator paint? Will it cure properly if I don't heat it up super hot? is there something better that I can pick up at crappy tire or home depot? The barrel is going to be mostly under the handguard with only ~1 inch visible so perfection isn't mandatory.
