I don't know about you guys and gals but I'm getting restless sitting at home not being able to bust a few clays so I thought I would ask what everyone's go to online videos are for Sporting Clays tips. I have a few favorites which I'm happy to share with you.

First is Chris Bathe. Maybe I'm partial to him because I'm a lefty as well. He has a whole series of videos posted on YouTube which you can view here … https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0A93E4B653DB4532

Second is Gil Ash of the OSP Shooting School. He also has a series of helpful videos posted on YouTube here … https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD5E0503E846D9CE6

Lastly is Don Currie, NSCA Chief Shooting Instructor. He has some videos posted on his own website here … http://doncurrie.com/video-gallery/

If these links don't work then just copy and paste them.

So, those are some of my favorites.

What is everyone else watching these days?

Ben Husthwaite has been doing daily YouTube videos. Anything by Mark Winser is good. Clay Pigeon has instructional videos as well. All on Youtube.

If you just like watching Sporting checkout Nicolas Berry on Youtube. Video from all the big American and World shoots showing some of the most successful shooters.

Get my advice off cgn open chokes, sub gauges and autos.

If there was such a thing as a natural shot Don Currie is likely it.

Agreed - the videos from Gil Ash and Chris Batha are good.

There's also the four part "How to Hit" series on the Clay Pigeon channel: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqwJpj8v-vjr75SwImEmtWoaFbGuCv2e6

Ben Husthwaite has a few good ones as well: "Smokin Targets" on the Fieldsports Channel: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3KxM9c3T7K8t72duqFhiSIaCjeC06C03

And a random little gem from Ben Husthwaite on the method star: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJKReebELMk

If you have the technology, follow Ben on Instagram - he's been doing daily live feeds that are both entertaining and educational.

If you're bored, try poking around on the Fieldsports channel - there's lots of other good stuff there about wing shooting and other hunting.

I've watched quite a few of them and I like what Ben Husthwaite is doing probably the best but there's lots of others that are just as good. I think that my least favorite is Gil Ash, not so much that he doesn't know what he's talking about but I just find him annoying to listen to. I also find that he's very set in his ways and it seems that he has a "my way or the highway" sort of attitude. For instance (I have his books) he says in his book that sustained lead is the best way to break a crossing target and one should never come from behind and pass through it. It makes me wonder if he's aware that George Digweed uses the pass through technique on crosser's, I'd love to see him tell George that he's doing it wrong. Another good coach named Mike McAlpine use to say that he wasn't there to tell you how to shoot a target, just to show you the different ways of shooting it so you can decide how you want to break it, I like that approach.

I am with you on Mr. Ash. More of an entertainer or salesman. Some think he’s great.
