Anyone know if there would be any difference between getting the Frontier round nose, or flat point bullets shooting through a Glock 17? I figured it wouldn't really matter since Glocks seem to feed pretty much everything.

Also, what is a good bullet weight for .40S&W? I have seen some people recommending 180gr, and then some saying 180's kick hard. Can anyone chime in and give me the scoop on what their bullet weight preference is in .40S&W and why?

Does anyone know why the Lyman 2200 Pro Tumbler w/Autoflow (holds 350rds of .38spl) is $20 MORE expensive than the Lyman 2500 Pro Magnum Tumbler w/Autoflow (holds 900rds of .38spl)? I have looked it up on the website but can't find any differences, and it doesn't make sense to me that the larger tumbler is more expensive. This isn't a typo because the price difference is on the LeBaron website among others.

Anyone know?

a couple of years ago there was a typo in the lyman catalogue - the 3200 was non-existant, and there were 2-2200s- one significantly more than the other- typically lyman goes up in price due to capacity, but there's other reasons, like 2 bowls, autoflow, etc- i ended up with the 2500 anyway-

Thanks t-star... I have actually found that all the online stores show this price difference as well. I tried calling Lyman twice but no answer. I am kind of eyeing the Hornady M2 right now too.... lol

We use 137gr for 9mm in most of our guns, and 180's for 40 S&W. 180's will kick if you load them up to max as will any bullet weight.

When loaded to the same power factor, a heavy bullet weight with a fast burning powder gives "softer" recoil.

Light bullets at the same power factor tend to make the gun "snappier"

Can anyone chime in regarding round nose vs flat point bullets in a Glock 17? Is there ANY disadvantage to either bullet type in 9mm being cycled/shot through this gun?

Does one feed better or have better accuracy than the other? I am putting in my order for 1000 of them today so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
