Best grease for an o/u and 870 rails?

Hey Guys
I've been using standard oil for a while but it just doesn't stay, what s a good moly grease for firearms?

I use synthetic wheel bearing grease on the hinge area of my O/U shotguns.

I use G-96 on all my firearms.
In the rain, the snow and the sleet and ice.
Never had a problem to worry about , yet...
Grease will just get dirty faster(retain unburnt powder) etc...
Just my observations.

I have been using STOS on the hinges of my O/U shotguns for many years with great results.

I use a white lithium grease on the hinges of my o/u. I use G96 on my semi-autos and pumps.
