I need to get more LAR mags. Currently have the C-products one and some other brand I don't remember. Looking online, there's the C-products, Questar (apparently are not good quality) and ones with green followers sold by Magwedge and CTC Supplies, I don't know if they're the same. I think C-Products were considered the best quality on here but I'm considering getting the ones from Magwedge as they have a 6 pack for a good price plus I need to get couplers so I can get them all in one place. Just curious about quality. Other stores selling C-products LAR mags don't have any Magwedges in stock.

The best LAR 10 mags are the early ones imported by Quester. The finish is not durable, but functioning is the best.

I haven't used any plastic 10 rounders, but I was at a match and watched someone struggling with a plastic ones ( not sure who make it is, there are so many of these. It is a very very very short one). He bought it off a store just before the match and had some issues with a TAVOR. Could be user error because these mags are so short it is difficult to manipulate.

This brings it to the point that with metal LAR mags, you can use GSDesign's plastic extension to make it almost like a 30 rounder in size and shape. I consider that to be very important for training purpose and it is essential for use with regular gear. Extension for plastic mag is difficult to make because it needs to be hollow all the way. The baseplate is depending on the magazine spring to push down on the detent to lock up the base plate. Almost all plastic mags work like this. Also, the baseplate guiding rail on the mag body is always on the outside, so any exertion will be to much thicker than the body.

Thanks for the reply but that doesn't help my situation. I'm trying to decide between the current offerings. Also, there are posts here saying the Questar mags have issues like FTF

I've had a lot of problems with the ones Magwedge is selling. I got my 6 pack at another dealer, but AFAIK they're the same "European" manufacturer. A lot of feeding issues whether used on any of a dozen different ARs, a few different Tavors and a T97. Seems like the springs see waaaaay too strong.

My older C-products (orange followers) from Wanstalls are flawless, but none around that I know of...

You may be able to get C-products (orange followers) from the Leduc C-tire. I got some there once.

Thanks Phat! You just saved me some trouble as I was gonna try a couple of them just to see.

Wanstalls and Bullseye London have CPD in Stock ATM

+1 for the ATRS mags. I have heard that some people had trouble with the mags from the first batch a while back, but I have half a dozen of them and all of mine have been flawless.

Got some from CT Leduc. Wow, $35 each. But I only got 4 and factoring in shipping if I got them online, I didn't pay that much more. I also wanted them ASAP as I'm going to the range in a few days.
