it sucks getting old. i wear bi-focals so i can see the front sight clearly but the rear sight is blurred so you can imagine i cant shoot the side of the barn (exaggerating) and no, it has nothing to do with the rifles

i was thinking of using a scope to improve my grouping but have never used scope before , noticed from fellow SKSers with scope that have posted their pics, that some have their scope mounted up close over the top cover and others quite far over the rear sight.
my question , which location you THINK is best for people with glasses? up close over the top cover or over the rear sight?
