Best mag fed pump shotgun??

So no experience with turkish shotguns. And you like tube fed better. Cool.
I don’t need to have owned any to know they are garbage, friends have owned them. Plenty of post on here over the years about how shítty they can be, like I said if I want a cheap mag fed 12g I’ll stick with my grizzly. At least if something breaks on it I can get parts for it easily.

best mag fed is this thang

My Sinsatti Turk made pump is OK.

I don't like the spring assisted forend as you can't leave the action open.

It feeds and extracts cheap shells just fine.

The folding stock adaptor makes the LOP too long for me.

I can run it with the stock without the adaptor and it is fine for me.

I can also run it with only the pistol grip which makes it very handy for the boat and such.

I have a bunch of 5 and 10 round mags as I started with the Alpharms SA but have given up on the SA due to failure to feeds, the front edge if the shell hangs up on the extractor cut out.

Detachable box mags are good because you can keep mags loaded with slugs, buck, bird, banger and flares for quick deployment where needed and legal.

Winchesters and one of the Italian are made in Turkey. Nothing wrong with turkish
Its not an issue of manufacturing skill, its an issue of poor engineering design and QC.

The Alder A110 i bought was 100% Turkish designed and manufactured and it was complete garbage, it failed to cycle even 3 rounds.

The SAP 6 I bought was 100% Turkish designed and manufactured and it was complete garbage, not only did it fail to cycle, but the 1913 rail sheared off and fell onto the ground after 200 rounds.

The semi auto AR shaped shotgun my buddy got was once again 100% Turkish designed and manufactured and it also failed to cycle. Roughly 1000rnds later He ultimately classed it as GARBAGE.

And ive seen countless other models of "Turkish delights" fail at 3 gun matches.

I would agree that there are a few good Turkish designed models out there.... some of the MKEs and the Turkinelli. But for every good Turkish designed shotgun, there seems to be 10 that are complete sh!t.

Now if you design and QC it outside of Turkey, and get the Turks to manufacture it. The end result is usually an exceptionally good firearm for the money. Guns like the Winchester SXPs and Weatherby PA-08s to name a few.

I will also acknowledge that the Turks do seem to be progressively getting better at designing guns.

Hi,
Looking for advices to buy a mag fed pump action shotgun.
The features I’m looking for is :
- reliability
- compact
- folding

So Far, I researched the following:
- Canuck Recon 2
- FMP
- Iron Horse Entry 12
- Mossberg 590RM Mag Fed

What are your experiences with those? Best place to buy?

Thanks !!
Haven't shot it but the mossberg 590 rm seems potent. Have a canuck recon and you can accidentally load the 5 round magazine backwards in the middle of the night. Requiring soft hammer to remove. Thought's

The Brixia / Valtro PM5s (Italian) are the best ive come across by a large margin. Only 2 things have ever jammed this gun. 1) a bent feed lip from tossing the mag onto gravel. 2) Modified 11rnd SAP 6 mags.
