Interested in a pistol slide mounted optic and wondering if anyone has much experience yet.

Looking for you recommendations on make, model, price and availability in Canada.

EOTech, Docter, and C-more can be had here under $500 but the Leupold Deltapoint is over 1K on Amazon.ca (the only place I found it in Canada).

Any experience or intel is appreciated.

I have 2 Deltapoints and am happy with them. One is mounted on my SIG P229 and the other is on my 1911. Bought one new from CGN dealer and the other used from the EE on CGN. Used one was $300 shipped.

I have an eye on the Trijicon RMR for a pistol... but didn't try it... just read about it...

I have this one (Trijicon ACOG / RMR Combo) on my AR... love it!

It's going on a Glock 34 MOS which comes with adapter plates for all the sights I listed and the Trijicon RMR.

Leupold was my first choice, but I didn't like the prices I found until the Frontier link was posted. I'm sure all the others are great but pretty much sold on the Leupold now.

The RMR is top of the line IMO but you will pay top $ for it never ran the eotech yet, hear mostly good about the delta. Burris is best bang for the buck I have a FF2 on my FNX 45 Tac and it functions as it should only down side is when sighting in and in the unlikely event that you need to change battery you need yo remove it from the pistol which gets annoying when initially sighting in
