I dont believe this. Every year you see a couple of these...Makes me wanta :cry: .I got a place just inside the quebec border. Cross out of ontario above deep river..New muzzle loading season on moose. Just ripe with moose. Total costs for EVERYTHING 550-575$..This year shoot any animal,but with quebec you require two licenses per animal...Do you think I can find a soul to go...Have had a couple say they'd go,but then back out cause they got an offer at a 400$ hunt 25 hr drive away...HUUMM,Whats the cost to drive a fully loaded gas burning truck 25 hrs again,in the northern wilds where gas is 50% more...Well if anyone feels the need to hunt with no humans,lots of moose,and good price,let me know...Starts Oct 10...I got the sleeping,eating,you name its....Just need the body

I know its kinda late,but I have no choice..I would love to have given more notice,and would have but I got waffled till the last minute....I wouldnt worry so much about the time line, cause I'm pretty much ready to roll...Buy groceries on the way,,and thats that

Oh I did,but commitment/cancellation,commitment/cancellation, over and over for 6 months before I got desperate and got on hear nation wide. Someone on here uses a quote that says "indesicion allows for flexibility"...I wish that wasnt the moto spoken or not of so many folk in this world today

You know I was just thinkin bout what you said and the fact that I didnt give just ten days.I GOT DESPERATE,after being played with for months. But aside from that,last fall a guy I know in montana called me late on a saturday afternoon...Late sunday I was lookin at him. Late monday the picture was taken,and you know it wernt in montana....You can do what you wanta do,you just gotta quit talkin and start commiting..I'll get flack on this,but thats a general eastern canadian weekness...Why do you think every election the country goes to the polls voting the libs out,and when the ballots are counted what happens.....

In short I guess I'm saying I wouldnt waffle 6 months on this,as a matter of fact 2 hrs before departure would be fine...If momma wasnt in the mood 1 1/2 hrs

Same things happen to our group: People talk a good game, but when it's time to put down your $$ for groceries, actually pack a bag etc, they disappear. :evil:
I guess that's why it's almost always the same faces in the camp every year for the last 15 or so.
Oh well, the stay-at-homes can tell us all about the good TV shows we missed while we were away :roll:
WE tell them about the great times, the laughs, the great adventures we had and tell and re-tell the inside jokes . :wink:
 
Your right..And not to offend anyone,but the quebecers that have waffled on this really boggle me,cause they buy a residence license, making it a 300$ hunt for them...I mean come on people...But then again I just cant piss on them cause even the guy waffling over 550,would spend that in a month in beer and smokes and not even notice....
