What is the best place to get a scope mount and what sort of scopes usually do well on these rifles for the placement?

S&K makes a great scout mount, no permanent modifications required. then add a nice long eye relief and you're good to go.
google "S&K scope mount" and they DO ship to Canada.

I got a 91/30 off member...Bought a Leopold 2x ler scope, remove rear sight, bought steel dovetail scope mount, To go on dovetail rear sight was on, when putting on mount drilled and tapped the dovetail, installed steel screws, used blue lock-tight, Leopold rings. Remove 2'' of barrel, then had barrel re crowned and cleaning rod shortened, I have put 700 rds through rife...200 gr factory (Russian) soft point, nothing has moved. Getting 1.5 on normal days, at 100 yards 1'' on days the gods are with me, which is not often... Shot from bench

i just ordered two S&K mounts.. called and spoke with the guy... i bought one weaver style and one S&K style that comes with rings.
So i'll have an extra to sell, after i decide which style i prefer.
total for two mounts, 1 set rings, shipping, was $176... thats not bad.

the S&K style looks cleaner.. but the weaver style allows me to choose my own rings, and the archangel mosin im putting it on would look best with extreme tactical rings like vortex or something...
