So what's the consensus on muzzle brakes for 5.56/.223 Vz 58s? It's for a 18.6" barrel, so keep in mind what works on a 7.5" isn't going to be the same because it could end up over-compensating and kicking the muzzle down too much to benefit much. I don't care how ugly or big or muzzle flash amplifying or obnoxiously loud it is, so long as it does the job. But if I can get something that redirects blast and flash a bit, that's fine too. Would prefer it to interface with the spring loaded pin on the sight block, as well. I would like to try to not use shims and loctite and whatnot if I can. And preferably it's one that's available at the moment, and not discontinued and only available on the secondary market for inflated prices.
Anyone have experience with multiple different muzzle devices that they could spit some data out for me?
