Best new trigger for remington700 5r milspec

Jewell, once you try one you won't want anything else. I have had rifle basics and timney. The Timney 510 I had would not go below 3 pounds and function. The rifle basics was better but neither were even close to jewell. At first they may seem expensive compared to Timney and RB but after you try/own one you will see them as indispensable. I have a spare one on the shelf just in case I buy/build something so I don't have to wait to get another.

Now some people say Jewell are not good for field use. I can't comment on this as I don't hunt. Perhaps others can comment on this aspect.

Buy once... and be happy.

By pins you mean perpendicular pins attaching the trigger to the action? My friend who seems pretty knowledgeable staked my timney to prevent the pins moving.

The pin that holds the sear release worked its way out, it is positioned directly below the rear trigger / action pin. A "tactical" that falls apart ain't right. No more Timney's for me.
