Best "Non 1911" .45 ACP Pistol

I don't think it's HK USA not wanting the HK45 up here. I think it has more to do with them not being available due to demand in the States.

There are dealers that get them in Canada and when they do, quite a few at a time. If HK USA didn't want the HK45 here, i find it very hard to believe you'd find any dealers in the States willing to "defy" HK and risk losing the ability to sell that Brand in their store.

HK45 doesn't ship here. Have to buy from the states or wait for one to trickle in.

Of all the pistols I've ever fired, 9mm, 45, 357, 44 Auto mag .50cal etc... The Sig P220 is by far my favorite.

Nope.

My Glock 17 Gen 4, Glock 22 Gen 4, Walther PPQ, M&P 40 and my German Sig P220 .45 suit me just fine. Time to give the 1911's another go.
