Best non plastic or cz platform for production?

Looking for something new but not really a fan of the shadows/tang folios or plastic guns. Pretty much looking at being a ipsc hipster I guess. What would be next on the list 92s?

I would go with the 92A1 Beretta. You can't buy a more reliable 9MM and the gun is accurate. Mags are expensive. The 92FS is the entry level gun in the 92 series. The downside to the 92FS is the fixed front sight that is not dovetailed. The 92A1 has a dovetail sight. Not polymer and not a CZ platform or copy of same.

No plastic and no CZ... you just eliminated a big chunk of popular pistols there. There's always Sig P22X series with an SRT?

My all stainless Sig P226 with SRT out performs my Shadow I in reliability and dependability. It is every bit as quick and accurate too.

Sig has got a few offerings.... The x5 may even come In a production legal version

Absolutely the way to go. All steel 1911 with a nice single action trigger plus you can work on the trigger/ change sights/ grips pretty much everything you cant do in production legally.
