Best peep sights and where to buy in Canada?

The Williams Foolproof are good sights, but I would look for an older, all steel Redfield or Lyman to match the rifle vintage. The are both micrometer set and will look a lot nice than a brand new Williams.

I have a Williams fool proof on a couple of rifles and really like them. I get mine from Western Gun Parts in Edmonton. I assume your rifle has the 2 small holes on the upper left side of the receiver. My 1942 mod 94 is not tapped for a side mount, but is for a tang sight.

Any good shooting supply/gunshop should be able to order you a Lyman reciever peep sight, there not cheap and worth the money(2X the $$ Williams), if you put an add in the optic exchange you should be able to find one no problem, cheers Dale in T-Bay

Not sure when Winchester first drilled and tapped the 94 for aperature sights, but most 94s from the 1950s I've seen have the holes. Both Lyman and Williams make models that fit the holes.
The old Williams Fool Proof was about the best hunting aperature sight I have seen. I had one on a 94. I'm of the impression it was made of steel, no wiggles to it. New one is aluminum and the adjustments are different than I remember of the old one. But they are still very neat and trim for a hunting rifle.

i bought a set of williams FP and the firesight from WGP and i also bought a set from the manufacturer.

I saved one third $$$ on WGP price of $142.00 buying from the manufacturer shipping in...

the Williams price included shipping from the USA

very happy with the sights mine are on my 30-30 and my 38-55 ..Model 94s

Apature sight.

PUT a WILLIAMS 94 FP on my 1894 Winchester musket.:D Purchased from CABALAS mail order winnipeg ( WHOLESALE SPORTS a few minutes away) Only had the LYMANS. I can do 3" at 100 yards with 170grers. Could not even see the Vsite on the 26" barrel. MONEY well spent.

This might be better...

Williams makes a great peep sight, no question. Nice quality and precision, and it sure improves my shooting.

I just find them awkward looking and in-elegant.

I am replacing them with these, on my 92's

I'm another Williams fan. Work great, not expensive. You may need a taller front sight; of seven levers I've put them on, five needed taller front sights.
I have Lyman tang sights for my Win 94 and Marlin 336 but have yet to try them.
