Best pellet rifle for the money

My hunting partner has been a good boy this year and is looking for a pellet rifle for Christmas.What would be the best .177 break action rifle he could get for $250 or less New or used?

Diana 34 would be a good choice.

Ruger Blackhawk, it's a made in China copy of a Diana 34, very cheap and shoots just fine. I have the 1000 fps .177 model.

Diana 34 WOULD be a good choice if your "boy" is adult-sized. A Diana 24, or 24C (carbine, shorter barrel-version) would be my pick. Physically a smaller rifle, every bit as good and non-PAL rated. Take a look on D&L airguns site to browse various models, but take note of the dimensions of any rifle you're considering. Lots of magnum air rifles dwarf adult-sized centerfires.

I second the Diana 24, very accurate carbine and euro springs are easy to get.

I bought a stoger x10 for the175 new and with rws super h point it is very accurate. For the money. No complaints.

dont forget Slavias if you can find them, made by CZ the 630 competes with Diana 34 620/1 is the smaller version. You can find them if you look hard.
