Hey CGN

I just ripped apart my 10/22 for the first time and I caught the bug. I want to upgrade everything to nice shiny expensive new parts!

I'm thinking I want to have a crap stock trigger guard to mess around with and a nice one with all my new shiny parts and I can just swap them out at the range depending on the type of shooting i'm doing.

Wheres the best place in Canada to order from? How bout the US?

Does anyone sell extra trigger guards?

I'm trying to find a place where I can buy a couple of the old metal or the new plastic stock trigger guards with all the guts

Oh and i just found out that Ramline stopped making those sweet little 50 rd magazines... factory discontinued???

Anyone know where i can get a new cheapo factory trigger guard w/o buying a new gun hehe

I had the same upgrade feeling a couple of weeks ago. Now's the painful hang-time waiting for all those shiny new pieces to arrive.

I bought a Kidd trigger assembly from them. I got the stock and GM barrel from Bits of Pieces, and a few things from rimfire sports.

Had it out at the range on the weekend, and it's already way more accurate out to 50m.

You managed to get a Kidd Trigger? I thought places did not ship gun items over $100.00 to CDN.

Cheap gun parts will do up to 500.

I talked to their Canadian shipping lady. She directed me to call the
Minister of Foreign Affairs (1-800-267-8376) to get an authorization or something for importing w/e. She was super helpful. You can import whatever you want through these guys i do believe.

It's in the mail, so I haven't managed anything yet. There are still taxes, duties, unexpected legalities, you name it. I'll post a full report on the charges if anyone is interested in going that route.

I had no problem with the VQ2000, but couldn't find anyone with stock in matte black. The Kidd looks like quality stuff though.
