Hey guys

I'm looking for my first shotgun and decided that the Remington 870 or the Mossberg 500 are the ones within my price range for a first shotgun, and they seem to have the most readily available accessories for what i'm looking for.although it is my first personal shotgun I have plenty of experience on the 870 through military and recreational use so i'm not looking for a entry level like the 88 for example.

My question is where would be the best place(cheapest and most accessories) to buy either of them?I live in Ottawa if that helps at all.

Thanks a lot for any help you can give me

Mike

I'd be curious about this too. With so many 870s out there, someone must have a killer deal.

I'd pay close attention to the EE if you haven't been already. Also, I seem to recall SFRC having a reasonable number of 870s? Thats where I got my AR-870 stock adapter and sling plate from.

I agree with you completely, but I can't seem to find that deal.As for the 500(which I am steering towards because of the positioning of the slide release)there are so many variants out there and a lot of the dealers don't actually show a picture of what you'd be buying so it's hard to make a decision.

I've been watching the EE,however this is gonna be a christmas(that's right,I said Christmas, not holiday haha)gift from my wife and she's just about as versed on a forum as I am on a sewing machine.SFRC does have a decent selection but the 500 is always sold out.
