I just bought a 338 Edge and it looks as though I need a bunch of specialized equipment.....

Davidson compariter / (caliber specific)
Spray on Graphite case lube
Graphite neck lube
Hornady bullet run out tool
Head space gauge

Anyone know where the place is in Edmonton to get these? One stop shop be great.....probably won't happen but can't blame a guy for trying!!

Thanks for the help

About the only thing you will get is the lube at Cabela's, Wholesale or P&D. P&D will at least know what you are talking about with a run out gauge so I would start there and maybe they might have one in stock.

I live in Vancouver and when I visit Edmonton, my favorite place to shop is P&D Enterprise. They have the best selection of reloading gear and the prices are very realistic. Beats any store in the Vancouver area. The sales people there are very knowledgeable and freindly and the selection of everything they sell is fantastic. You have to go and spend some time in their store, well worth the effort !

And you need all that because...? Me expects a 2 die RCBS set of dies and the normal measure scale, priming tool and calipers would suffice. It does for most rifles!

ykkid.....I just got a 338 edge for longer range....I agree with you up to a certain point, I can drop deer at 500yards with my 257wby if the conditions allow without using any of those tool

But to extend my range to 1000+ yards (target shooting) I want to make sure all my ammo is very precise with very little variance or margin for error....

For example i could sort out all my bullets with a conventional scale but it would take me weeks....with a digital scale 30 min and im done....

To each his own :)
