Best Place in Edmonton to get AR's and M4's?

P&D has by far the best customer service in Edmonton. You may find that some of their prices are slightly higher but the service is good, selection is good, thay are knowledgeable on their products and they will order you stuff if they are out of stock.

P & D - see their add at the top of the page. I would say they are the only place worth going to for such products. X2 on the great customer service - just be prepared to have one of the staff try to sell you on going to a service rifle match... you know who you are ;)

Get one from the EE on this site! You can get some great deals if you hunt around and don't mind a used rifle. Saves you hundreds of dollars in asking price alone, not to mention the tax!

No offense to P&D but $1749 plus tax for a stock bushhamster carbine is pricey.

For a few bucks more then what you would pay with Tax you could get a MUCH better rifle:

Here's a quality upper for sale:

Build your own lower and you are still under the price of the stock rifle from the store!

Without resorting to building your own, I would say P&D. Also, you may want to check out Moving Target (see top of page). He's selling Norc M4(geries) for $750 + tax shipped. Moving Target is only an hour west of Edm as well.

P+D for in Edmonton but have also had great service from other site sponsors such as Questar and the Shooting Edge.

P&D usually carries the best sellection and staff are helpful, wild west sometimes has the oddest stuff you would never expect to find at sometime great prices, you just have to watch as the owner typically strips out all the goodies (stripped a cleaning kit from my swiss arms and swapped out the sling, and will take one mag if it comes with two aimo and the opinion and experience of others) Milarm has some stuff but P&D is really the place for on the shelf selection. P&D won't deal though so if you plan on buying lots check EE or make the trip to calgary and deal with TSE they are much happier to deal. Also Bashaw sports will surprise you with what they carry, call them if you have something in mind, if he doesn't have it he can get it and again is happy to deal unlike P&D.

Inside Edmonton, P&D. Outside Edmonton, CGN EE. Don't bother with Wild West. The people who recommended them must have deep pockets and infinite patience.

Wild west is expensive, not great to deal with but on the rare ocasion you can find a deal there, like anything else, have to really shop around.

No one in Edmonton has any AR. The only ones P&D have are the post ban Bushmasters. Bud has a Rock River Arms in stock in Bashaw. Your best bet is the EE.

I bought mine from P&D (a chit house garden variety plain Jane AR15 Bushmaster) and have been happier than a pig in the mud with it. They have some top notch black rifle geeks in there and they know their stuff.

You might see the odd AR out at Phoenix too. The guys at Milarm usually have a couple too.

Yeah, it's not an AR unless Eugene Stoner himself scratched his initials into the receiver... just like it's not a car unless Gottlieb Daimler screwed his maid in its backseat. :jerkit: AR doesn't mean exclusively 'Armalite.'

The Bushmaster XM15E2S that P+D sells is as much an AR as anything else you'll ever see.

I would also not be afraid to shop around to a number of the sponsrs on this page, as you can usually find a good deal somewhere else in Canada and still have it shipped to your door for a lot cheaper. But certainly go to P&D and/or Milarm and try them out before you buy as you never know what you might like.

For me, I just wanted a cheap M4 and bought a Norc M4 from Frontier in SK.

P&D are great to deal with, I have never had any luck with Wild West. They are really hard to deal with, and very expensive. Look around at our site sponsors and the EE, if you are patient you will find exactly what you want for a good price. Bashaw is good to deal with, if you don't mind the drive, if they don't have it they will order it. You will be surprised at what they carry for such a small store.
