Best place to buy a Ruger 22/45 MkIII?

From what I've read in many posts (thank you search function ), it seems I can't go wrong with a Ruger 22. And I think, based upon my wants and needs, the 22/45 MkIII with the 4.5" barrel will be the winner. This is what I'm looking for (22/45 Mark III, P45GCMKIII):

Wholesale has them for $309 plus tax (15% rip off Maritimes HST) and shipping. That adds up quick. Anyone know of a place that might have them cheaper? Maybe one for sale used?

Yes, I'm a cheap baxturd! But think of how much 22LR I'll be able to buy with all the money I'm trying to save!

I would imagine that you would only pay GST as it is bought out of province.

Just bought one myself last month.. be prepared to spend some $$ on a sear. the factory one is BRUTAL.. (I havn't measures it, but it must be 8-10 lbs)

Call the Calgary store, when I was looking for one they said that they were out of stock for the near future but were willing to special order one in for me with an ETA of about two weeks.

Just called them to confirm. They charge HST (15%). She also said I could expect to pay around $50 or more for shipping to NS!



309 + 15% + $50 = $405.35

$100 extra on top of the cost of the gun? Not for a 22. I'll pass....

You'll pay about that much before taxes and shipping at most places. Still a good deal.

The phone reps at wholesale know absolutely nothing about shipping. She said it would be around $50 for shipping - it was about $20 when they billed me.
