Best pmag for xcr-l

Looking to stock up on .223 5/30 pmags for my xcr-l was wondering which work best the gen 2 or gen 3 or is there a better mag for the platform thanks in advance

XCR don't care what kind of mag you use, as long as it is pinned properly, however pistol mags are ideal.

So picked up a cpl pmags newest revision 3 and they do indeed work perfect in my xcr

I found the polymer beowulf mags and the alberta tactical "pistol mags" work like shiiit in the xcr. It drops the metal mags wayyy better.

If you have the option, get the Gen 3 mags. They are a tiny bit smaller. I have some Gen 2s that don't drop free but the Gen 3 always fall right out of the mag well.
