Hi All,

I'm upgrading my powder scale. I curerntly have the Lee and am not thrilled with it at all. I'd like an electronic scale....any recommendations y'all have would be appreciated.

I cant comment on an electronic of any description, but I just went from a lee scale to a Hornady and its like night and day. Ther Hornady seems like a very good scale for the $35 I paid for it.

Redding scale for the last 15 years, no problems. RCBS Powder Pro last 2 years no problems, very fast scale.

I use a Dillon D-Terminator electronic scale and love it.
I just bought 1 and don't know if Dillon is BSing me or if its me> I can not trickle into my new Dterminator, I can with my old RCBS electronic, but the Dillon guy told me with their Dterminator it is not supposed to be trickled into, just dumped.
I will not bash the Dillon, YET but am curious as to if you can trickle in to yours and actually have the numbers change before the pan overflows?

I trickle into the lyman, the Dillon guy is BSing you. Do the instructions say all the powder must be dumped into the pan in a certain time frame? Do you "fast trickle" or "slow pour"?

With the Lyman, and I'm sure all scales, 3 to 5 kernels of stick powder + .1gr, depending on the powder.

The Pact 1500 unit is excellent. I've also heard excellent things about the New RCBS units.

my father gave me his rcbs 10-10 that he had for 20years?. i learned how to reload on it and will probalby never use anything else
