best price for marlin 1895 in alberta

Kinda vague. What model? I think the range would be $650ish for a plain jane (according to the Wholesale Sports catalog, but who knows if they have any left for that price) to close to $999 for an XLR. I paid $795 for my 1895 (plain wood with 22 inch barrell) and likely was a little on the high side, but a few boxes of shells and some reloading goodies were thrown in to the deal.

If you are in the Edmonton area I'd check out P&D, Wholsesale, and Bashaw Sports. There are likely others as well.
 
Im having a real hard time not trying to "educate the world" with my answer.
I must refrain.
Buy from the local shop, I say. Maybe this will allow the doors to be open when you need something else, perhaps quickly, without having to drive to Zanzibar. Maybe this place will be your kids first job instead of Mc Donnas or Walfart.
Wouldnt that be nice.
 
thats why i bought 3 guns( a overunder/a 22-250 and this marlin) this year from that store as mentioned in the post just before yours.and as long as its a comparable price (within 50 or so )no problem ,but if they are not competative they will be out of the market real soon .having said that this shop wants to know what the prices are out there and then they do what they can. all good.
