Best price on .22 bulk packs

Canadian Tire beats Walmart - Federal 525 bulk for under 14.00

Hey dude, check out Canadian Tire's federal bulk packs - they're under 14 bucks (cheaper than Walmart - who doesn't even carry the federals anymore) and they're the best cheap .22 shell I've come accross yet. I shoot 1000's of rounds of .22 LR every year, and wouldn't buy anywhere else.

NOTE: - I think Walmart might have the REALLY cheap winchesters for around 12 bucks, but they're solid tip, and not washed in copper which makes 'em really messy in your barrel. For $1-2 difference on 525 rounds, I'd go with the Federals every time.

with the high cost of shipping go to your local gun store and make a deal. most will give a good deal if your buying a couple of cases. last time my buddy and i ordered two cases prepaid and picked them up the next week. great price because store didn't have to stock it.

Actually the reason I am asking is our one and only local gun store just opened his doors 6 weeks ago and he can't find a supplier that has any bulk packs in stock. I would definitely prefer to deal locally and if I could find a supplier for cheap copperwash .22 I would likely pass on the info to the local guy and then buy from him.

i agree that the copper washed federal hp's are probably the best cheap ammo available. i knew that walmart quit stocking them but i didn't know that canadian tire had them, and cheaper to boot. gonna go get some, thanks for the heads up on that.

Some Canadian Tires also have the American Eagle copper wash 38 grain, still in the cartons...usally they sell them from open boxes, but if you ask they can bring a brick out for you. :D

And I agree about the Federal at Canadian Tire...my .22's love them, and I go through at least 1000 rnds per month. :D
