Ended up buying a 795 instead, I think I'll be happy with it. 207.00 retail. Haven't received the total tally yet but presume I'll be under the 250 mark. I can live with that. Plus I already have a xt-22 VR and a xt-22 youth for the lad so I have a pile of mags. Can't wait to try her out.bar-B-Q season is approaching fast and there's nothing like having a 250 yrd range off the deck as the rib-eye's are sizzling.shoot safe,shoot often

HOLY CRAP ! ! ! ! You paid over $200 for a 795 É!! I picked mine up from Wholesale Sports Calgary last September for 159.00 out the door ! !! I also picked up a Bushnell 4x scope and a brick of Fed American eagle 38gr hollow points and the total came to $209.00 ! You will like the gun though, worlds above a 10)22 and handy as all get out !

Hang around in some smaller gun shops people are always trading guns it. I got a stainless laminate model 60 for $150 or something like that last year.

Had both a laminated stock Model 60 and a 795. The Model 60 was prettier but the 795 was my first choice because of the magazines rather than the PIA tube feed. Sold the 60 soon after getting the 795. The 795 is also lighter and easier to maneuver. Sold my Blue 795 when I finally found a Stainless one. Both Model 60 and 795 are very accurate and with the Mcarbo trigger kit even better.

Got the Mcarbo kit coming from Amazon. Want the pid trigger guard to but I think I'll hold off to see the trigger actually is first.

I found a BNIB synthetic/blued 60 on the EE four months ago for $150.00 local pick-up, for my buddy. He got lucky.
