Best/Recommended Red Dot Sight For MSR RX-22

Hey guys,

I did a quick search on red dots on here, and couldn't find anything specific what I'm trying to find out. I'm sure there's a few threads out there, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good red dot sight for a tactical style 22LR? I currently have an MSR RX-22 on order (Don't have it in my hands yet!) and I'm trying to do my due diligence in researching what might be the best model/set up for my rifle. I'll be mostly plinking with it. Shooting some targets and some gophers. I'd really love to have something with a see-through mount so I can still use the irons if I want, but that's not a necessary option.

So any opinions on what you currently use or think I should avoid would be great!

Depends on price. Cheapest decent option is the Bushnell TRS-25. After that you are probably looking at Vortex, then into the big brands. If going for the better brands, buy new, from a dealer as there are a lot of counterfeits around. Stay away from the NC Star's, cheap stuff from China.

Thanks for the advice. Ya, I have no intention of buying something used or possibly counterfeit. Definitely wanting to stick to the better known brand names. As for price, looking to spend anywhere from $100 to $300. Probably somewhere in that range.

I'll definitely check out the TRS-25.
