I shed no tears when Remington quit making a semi.
7400 or 750 models work great. In my experience ( I have had at least 5 Remington semi's) any issue to load was caused by the magazine. A little tweak with an AR15 field tool on the feed lips usually do we the issue. They wouldn't be considered super accurate or easy to work in but are a decent option if priced right.
742 and 7400 in 308 and 243 are far less troublesome than are others for some reason.
A good friend and hunting buddy has a 7600 in 30-06 that was a POS.
