Best scope under $400

I am looking for a 3-9x50 for moose hunting. Looking to put it on a T3 Lite. Any advice would be appreciated.

For under $400, you can get a Elite 4200 3-9x40 from SIR.

A used Leupold, bar none. Pick one up here on the board, last Vari X-II I bought here ran $270'ish, and way more scope than the Elite 3200 or 4200, in my opinion.

Mueller tac 2 is an excellent choice - better than most for new. Can't go wrong with a used leupie either

leupold rifleman, 3-9x50mm is around $350 NEW and comes with a lifetime warrenty and has that leupold quality.

Rifleman's are alright, I've had 2, but they are not up to the Leupold standard as usual (friction adjustments, unsure of how the coating compares). Considering a used Vari-X II is cheaper, I'd go that route.

leupold VX1. pass on the 50mm, stick with a 40mm. all it does is add weight, and with quality optics the extra 10mm isnt needed.

Brand new Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40mm...

New Leupold Rifleman or VXI 3-9x40mm...

Or used Leupold VXII 3-9x40mm...

Leupold gives you the lifetime guarantee. Personally, I like 40mm scopes over 50mm, especially on a hunting rig.
