Best Shooting mat Or drag bag and what you use?

I looked at it too however the reviews weren't the greatest. Issues with the stitching or something along those lines. Passed on it and bought another.

cheers,

Nothing black... I got 2 of the cabelas, they're alright if its cool and cloudy, but out in the sun laying on that for 30-40 minutes, insanely hot.
Last year I switched to just a thick type of white/beige canvas from the fabric store, cheap, light, folds up small and takes almost no space to carry, doesn't get hot, washable. I have no need for padding anyhow, this ain't a sleeping competition.

It also depends where you are shooting.
If you are on concrete or shooting in side for an extended periods, your elbows can get quite sore.
I use a competition mat for indoor prone shooting, available at Tesro Canada or http://targetshootingproducts.com.
The Cabela's mat is great for using outside, but the rubber does get very, very hot in the sun, I usually throw the trunk blanket on it.
My 2 cents.

I got one this year. Works great and using it in the back pack role was great when walking through the pasture in snow to my shooting spot. This sure beats laying in the snow. Great quality piece of kit.
