Best SKS

What was the biggest difference for you between the russian and the yugo?
Why is the yugo your primo choice when compared to a russian?
I have a russian that is why I am curious and a bit surprised that you think the yugo is better.
Any responders would be appreciated.

Ruskies are good no doubt, but the machine work on my Yugo's was better than the Ruskie in my experience and the gun just has a more finished feel to it (saying a lot as the Ruskie's no toad). The Yugo M59/66 was also more accurate than the Ruskie, M59 about the same. I also prefer the Yugo 59/66's features in general, but this is a design item rather than finish/function. I'd take a Ruskie in exc shape over a Yugo M59, due to the more niche factor collector wise, but I like the Yugo better if I have to choose on use and function alone.

The best sks would be the one on the bottom of the English Channel, what a waste of metal.

So tell us your first gun....let me guess....a brand new SAKO...or a Weatherby for your birthday?...

Or a used .22 costs 80$?

We are having hard time fighting PlayStation and Xbox to attract younth. The last thing we need here are some Anti-Low-Cost-Gun activists.....
