Best solution for weapon IR booster/light

I called a place looking for them and he tomd me over 30megabits is illegal.
But I know some guys on here have a NV scope, what do you guys use to boost them?

Reason I ask is because I found a IR bullet cam and wanna see if I can make my own ghetto NV using those TV glasses/small screen, the IR camera, and ofcoarse a IR booster (sorry if thats not what they are called).

Dont care if its custom just want it compact and powerful enough.
