Best starter kit?

Still fairly new to reloading. Always did it with my dad and used his gear. Now it’s time for my own set up. I think just a single stage press is all I need. Looking at the Redding big boss 2 kit, or the rock Chucker kit. Both seem pretty comparable, the Redding being abit more $. Anything else. To consider? What else should be bought with these kits? Anything they are missing?
I’m also considering the Forster co-ax press. But then I’d have to buy all the other stuff separate. Unless there is a reasonable kit that doesn’t have a press in it. Any suggestions?

The Forster Co-Ax press is a wicked press! I started with a Bonanza Co-Ax and ended up buying a new Forster Co-Ax. I bought everything else individually. If you bought a Forster Co-Ax and didn’t like it or got out of reloading you wouldn’t have any issues selling it in a heartbeat!

If a single stage is what you're looking at, LEE makes a pretty good starter set- mine included a full reloading book also.

The rcbs kit is good as well. That's what I started with and in the beginning it worked great for my needs. You will add tools and time savers as you desire.

I started with a Lee Press and it is excellent however it needs a lot of care, ensure to oil the handle and anything that could rust or corrode..The handle on my Lee did just that..So I ended up buying an RCBS and it is a beautiful press..Love it..however I don't like the primer function. too slow. so I went looking for hand primers..The Lee hand primer is absolute garbage..not worth a cent.. I finally settled on the Frankford Arsenal hand primer perfect seater and it is awesome...5 stars for sure... I have a lyman case cutter lathe with the power option and it is great, got a Lyman sonic cleaner it is awesome as well. I use Lee dies however I'd recommend RCBS if you want to spend more, Lee Powder dispensers the cheap ones are excellent..for the price you get maybe a grain or two out once you set up.
Everything else? chamfer and deburr tools as well as primer hole cleaners and deburring most tools are the same to some extent..

If you buy the rock chucker starter set you've got basically everything except dies and components to get you going. That's what I bought to start with, and after doing a couple thousand pistol rounds on it I bought a Dillon as well. Now the rock chucker is only for rifle stuff, but I still use pretty much all the stuff it came with.
