Just wondering what everyone is using say at 100 yards. I have tried a few recently and find there is a big difference. My eyes are not what they used to be(62) Are there some that are easier to focus on than others?
The one I got are made by Birchwood Casey, pretty sure I got them at BPS.
Just try it on different backing, I wear glasses and eyes aren't what they use to be , but I find a simple orange dot less hard to focus on, I also find it easier to adjust eye relief on scope this way.
Good Luck
I find that orange washes out for me due to lack of contrast. The best for me is a dark colour dot on a white background. Someone suggested using a bingo dauber and it works great. At 100yds, a 9x scpoe will let me easily shoot at the ~1/2" diameter dot it leaves. At 200yds I just use the dauber to make a ~1" dot and it works fine as well.
