After searching and looking through pages of threads I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.

I'm looking to get the most accurate <500 fps .22 air rifle out there, that is capable of having a scope mounted. Either spring, or Nitro piston is preferred as C02 or others would be inconvenient for me to fill.

Whatever you suggest, keep it to things that are currently available in Canada - preferably Southern Ontario/GTA.

Thanks so much for your help.

oh... and Merry Christmas!

These are some bada$$ air guns. I never imagined that it would be around the $500 mark.

If I were to pose the same question with a $250-$300 price cap - what should I be looking at?

Thanks again

get a diana. they are more money but you can buy parts for them or send them in for repairs. try that with a gamo or hatsun. the gunsnith at the local shop gave me a benjamin that a customer returned due to the inaccuracy to test for him. the best i could do was around 2" at 25 yds. this was one of those nitro piston models. my diana 34 will shoot ragged holes from 25 and its a springer.

cz 200 comes in 17 or 22 air arms calls it the 400 I believe. very accurate. not as accurate as the FWB 603, but accurate nonetheless

HW30 is a wicked accurate air rifle. It will be just around the $300 mark. Next would be the HW50 and then the HW97. I have a 50 and a 97 in GinB custom stocks. One hole accuracy at 10m. A little internal tuning and good lube job and the 30 will give the same accuracy providing the person squeezing the trigger is capable. :)

Two Ians agree the HW30 or HW50 is the best you can do. Adjustable record trigger, all metal and wood. Deep bluing, excellent accuracy and something you can be proud of. Weihrauch is in a league way outside of crosman and even Diana.
I shoot an HW85k which is the big brother of the 50. Just love it. Actually i like HW so much i have an hw40, and a 45 too. I have also had an Hw50 in 177 and one in 22 but like more velocity.

You wont be sorry spending the money on one.

I have a couple of CZ631 that are really accurate. D&L used to sell them for around 220 bucks. Both mine were bought very slightly used for around $170 shipped, IIRC. Bargains really, considering the quality of these CZs.

The Diana 34 from D&L, is a great rifle too.
