I'll vote for Celestron, tho I have the Cavalry. It's a disctd. model from about 10 years ago, 25 x 75-70mm so I don't know about the T-seeker, but the pics look the same. Mine has the 45* eyepiece. My club range is only 175 yds and I can see .223 holes very well.
PS - Mine was from CT and was ca. $200 back then.

FWIW, for field use, I've only ever been disappointed by spotting scopes in this price range.

x2, I've been down that road... and I've looked through lots of good ones at rimfire matches. It really depends what you are going to do with it, or WANT to do vs reality, and how 'big' of a scope you can deal with.

for 'OK' used in around 400-600 look for a used Nikon, or save up a bit more for one of these Sightrons for just under a $1000.. I picked one up and I can now see .22 on paper at 300m which was my goal, cou: I mean my goal was helping my wife with her love of birding LOL.

OP - A lot depends on your use - at a range with a large tripod I fine my Celestron 25-75x70 good, as I said I can see .22 at 175 yds. If you want longer distance C-makes better, including Astro-scopes. What's your plans / budget really ? S.Mike is right, there are good C.s for $2-300 or so.
ONE thing, the eye relief on mine is VERY short, like an inch or so, doesn't work with glasses. Something to consider.

The old bushnell spacemaster II gets real good reviews, and they are not hard to come by, usually about $200ish.

Over raytitted.
Had them and saw nothing great about them.

I have one and I tend to agree. I can see .22 bullet holes out to 200yds, but beyond that I think they would need to be awfully fat bullets. Optical clarity is nothing to get excited about, and the view dims down significantly at higher power. I'd like to upgrade but I can't justify the expense just for a range optic.

What are you planning to use it for? I know it's not what you want to hear but when it comes to glass, good, not $$$$$$$ don't go together.
