Just looking at a first tumbler purchase. A few options I'm looking at are the Frankford Arsenal Quick-N-EZ, The Lyman Turbo 1200, Or Canadian tire's Mastercraft tumbler. Is there any others that should be on my radar? Also, I guess my main question is whether it is worth spending the extra on the Lyman vs the Frankford?

I have been using my Lyman 1200 for almost 20 years now with no issues and am happy with it.. I can't speak to the others as I have no experience with them.
I am going to switch over to wet tumbling and keep the Lyman solely for a quick tumble to remove case lube.

I also have the Lyman and it works great.

I've had the Frankford arsenal for about 4 years. I shoot several thousand rifle rounds a year so I reload a decent amount.

No issues with so far and I'm quite happy with it.

IMHO the Frankford Arsenal will do the same work for less money. The design of the lid on the Lyman Turbo 1200 is a sifter with slots, hence not fully enclose which can produce more dust, as in the Frankford use a full clear plastic lid design.

I have a Lyman turbo 600 that I have been using for 20+ years . 5 years ago I but the larger 1200 bowl with the bottom drain plug on it and the thing just keeps going and going.

I did the same thing and replaced the 600 bowl with a Frankford 1200 sized bowl as it has a solid sealing lid.
I bought the 600 used over 25 years ago, and hate to think how many hours are on it, but it's still going strong.

I have the Frankford and the CTC tumbler, along with one put out by Cabela(RCBS I think).
The Frankford one has always worked well, as has the one from CTC, which has the advantage of having a rubber seal to keep in the dust. The nut on top of the stem gets very hot for some reason.

I just started reloading and picked up the CTC tumbler on sale for $49.00.
Has worked great for my first few loads.
Quite and dust free, but can't compare to a "known good " tumbler as I've never used one.
:)
