Definately.. just shoot the damn thing!

Do a pre-op check; look for anything out of place, barrel obstructions (yes even in NEW firearms), gas key staked properly, etc. Give it a cursory wipe down, some lube and hit the range!

I then do another quick inspection after a few hundred rounds to make sure nothing is loose / indication of excessive wear etc. If that is good then, more often than not, all is good.

Clean it obsessively.

Stare at yourself in the mirror with it all kitted up.

Order all the mallninja stuff online and wait for it to get shipped.

By all means don't ever take it to the range to actually use it.

Call the manufacture on the particular AR and they will give you the best advice than anyone here can unless it's KevinB that works for KAC. But really the advice above is fine, it can depend exactly how you intend on breaking the AR in, or how many rds you intend on using as well. Since there is no FA aloud and only 10rd mags at best you should be fine.

Thanks I'm gonna call dpms when I get a chance

Or you could just go shoot the thing like 99.99% of the people who buy their rifles. If you needed to call the manufacturer they would be overwhelmed with thousands of calls and very shortly afterward would include some info with the rifle.

Just go and shoot your new rifle and stop being obsessive about it.
