Best way to clean old lube out of a lubesizer

Yeah i just ordered in the heated base. And yeah I am making 4570 405 gr and 330 gr. but I also make 30 cal and tons other. I make and sell some boolits to locals. And I used to sell in here. Trying to build up a supply again before I start selling again.

Boiling hot water.

I've tried solvents - gas, diesel, kerosene, thinner, etc. It works but it's messy and it screws up the first stick of lube you put through the machine: the boolits come out in varying degrees of gooey.

Nothing works as good as good as plain old hot water. Remove the handle. pull the piston and sizing die out. Submerge in a metal pail or pan. You don't need violent boiling, just good hot water for 20-30 minutes. It's like magic. The lube melts and rises to the surface. After 20 minutes of heating, take the pan outside and let it cool, then skim the hardened lube off the top of the water when it hardens. Now you can remove your lubesizer without depositing another coat of lube on it.

I don't bother cleaning it out-I use old lube for PB boolits and it always works just fine.

It's free lube-why would I throw it away?If it was solid-yes but otherwise it's perfectly functioning lube.
