Hi --
The action in my Russian SKS has a bit of back and forth movement -- perhaps 3/16ths of an inch.
I tried placing a shim in the narrow slot at the back of the stock, if you make the shim thick enough to lock the action in place, you can't get the action in or out.
Any suggestions on how to lock the action in place so there is no back and forth movement?
Thanks,
Grey
