My Doctor just bought a New Tikka/stainless in Rem 7mm/magnum, he is going o Elk hunt in BC in Sept
Just trying to help him out, lapping scope rings and installing VX 3 Leupold, would like to try a couple different brands, Nosler Barnes etc. Kind of leaning towards lighter bullets 140 to 150 gr
thanks in advance for help

don't shoot much factory ammo but a buddy gave me a few boxes of hornady 139gmx. tikka t3 ss. deadly on game and and very accurate. i have never found a more accurate handload yet.

No argument but 139-grain bullets may be a bit light, considering the doc is hunting elk. An alternative is 162-grain Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X. They will do the job nicely at longer ranges or short.

no problem with a 139 mono. its able to do threw and threw on black bears. way tougher than an eld and probably maintains more weight.

I dont use the 7mm but my son does, i have zero many brand of ammo to find the best one.

Remingnton Corelocks 150 grs PSP seem the most accurate while being less expensive.
