I agree with Maynard, I find that Win brass is pretty good and there isn't a lot of variance from lot to lot, then Remington, Federal Brass is good except the primer pockets will loosen up quickly after a few reloads. Norma and Lapua brass are good but not necessary unless you have a precision rifle.
i use winchester, i have two day to day hunting plinking guns, sav -99 and rem 700, works for me you dont need the expensive stuff unless you have a precision rig,, wade
Federal is allegedly softer than most other manufacturer's brass. Remington is ok. Mind you, I've never used either extensively. When I was buying factory ammo to collect brass, there was no Federal and Remington ammo was too expensive. Winchester has served me well for eons out of my bolt actions and semi-autos.
