People usually like to know what to expect for a potential future purchase.
That way, we can eagerly save up said amount with a lot more enthusiasm.
It also helps to know what are the current product issues so that potential clients can appreciate the delay and all the R&D that has gone into it on your end for the client.
Also, if the public knows what you have in mind, they may suggest input modifications that may indeed better sell your proposed product.
Simply stating that you will be coming out with the best shotgun for $700 does not do much to keep negative comments at bay.
Now please don't get me wrong, I know all to well the emotions that you are going through since I've done the same many a times.
None of my comments were intended to offend or put anyone's efforts down. Quite the contrary!
It all falls down to human curiosity and anxiety for the purchase of a new toy.
To keep interest peeked, a reminder of what to expect would be great. Nothing to detailed but, something to ponder about and to our maintain salivating human nature.
