Hey guys. I picked up a nice Brno 802 combo gun a while back. It shoots pretty well, but the sights leave something to be desired:rolleyes: Anyone know how to upgrade the sights? I'd love to find a good rear sight that would tap into the dovetail....or maybe a weaver rail that would allow me to put a peep sight on. Anyone tried it before?

Good luck in trying to find anything to fit a BRNO Combo gun! I say this as I also find the sights all but useless for serious accurracy beyond 50 yards. I also would love to have a peep fit the top rail of any BRNO combo madel, they just don't make it! You probably will have to mount a scope unless you send it off to Martin & Hagne or one of the guys who build a repair double rifles here in Canada. It will probbably cost atleast $600 and up to get one of these guys to work there magic! The other route is if your lucky enough to have a friend who is a hobby machinist help to build you a rear peep. I think when I get good enough on my new lathe and mill I am going to try to build a peep that fits the 13mm top rail. I hope you find some help here on CGN, your fellow sympathizer, Dale Z!

I believe it is an 11mm rail - maybe 16mm - cant recall. In any event, the euro sight base companies have many ideas in their inventories. Recknagle, etc - all have various adapters that can be used.

I went with a Dr. Optic dot sight with its base that fits the rail. I have all 3 rail adapters, the 11mm, 16mm and 19mm. The Dr. Optic used to come with the weaver base, but they are interchangable for many other fitments.

Scour online for the euro bases and mounts and you may be surprised.
