Bettinsoli X9 sporting 12g with 30 inch barrel opinion

i know back in the late 90s early 2000s, the mono blocks were prone to splitting, haven't heard anything bad about the newer guns though. I know only 1 guy who uses the x9, i don't know how much he shoots but it hasn't given issue in the past 3 years he's had it. I have shot it, feels reasonably well made for what it is.quality isn't quite at the same level as browning or beretta. At that price id be leaning more towards spending a bit more for a Beretta.

I've got one. I really don't shoot trap with it, but I do average 75-100 rnds a week with it for the last year or so at sporting clays. I have had no problems with the gun at all. I did find that there was maybe not enough drop in the stock for me, I installed an adjustable but plate and it made a difference to how I shot with it. Could just be poor technique on my part in how I shoulder the gun but it is far more consistent for me with a little more drop.
